 As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, Mediaplex has partnered with ClearSky Climate Solutions to bring carbon neutral ad serving to all of our clients. By purchasing carbon offsets from ClearSky Climate Solutions, Mediaplex is able to support programs that positively impact the planet, while neutralizing Mediaplex’s own carbon footprint and that of its clients. Following the completion of an audit of the greenhouse gas emissions from its data centers, Mediaplex began offering carbon neutral ad serving through the purchase of certified carbon offsets from ClearSky. Mediaplex’s certified carbon offsets are derived from a sustainable forestry and reforestation project in Panama. ClearSky is re-foresting degraded and abandoned cattle pastures in the pacific lowlands of Panama with native species forests, and practicing certified sustainable forestry. The ClearSky project is rehabilitating ecosystems as well as providing long-term stable employment in the rural villages in Panama – and reversing the dominant rural-urban migration pattern. Mediaplex is proud to participate in making valuable projects like this continue to achieve. Mediaplex’s investment in carbon offsets from this project begins to address the environmental impact of our business operations, by mitigating our climate impact as well as improving tropical biodiversity habitat and living wages in Panama.
